Bingo

BingoBook by Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid
Music and Lyrics by Michael Heitzman, Ilene Reid and David Holcenberg

In this zany musical comedy, the audience gets to join in the Bingo game at Hamerin County’s St. Luke’s church basement, where they meet, among others, Vern, Honey, and Patsy, who have driven through Hurricane Dora in the name of their weekly obsession. In between the number calling, strange rituals, and fierce competitions, love blossoms and long lost friends reunite. Bingo mixes song, quirky contestants, romance, and rivalry into an interactive, presentational contest – and you get to take part in the game of chance!

With memorable musical numbers such as “Girls Night Out,” “I Still Believe in You,” “Gentleman Caller,” and “B4,” Bingo is a splashy, zippy and outrageously funny musical comedy that you won’t want to miss!

“It’s a game, it’s a musical. Who can resist?” Chicago Tribune

“A fun, cheerful, and witty new show, with songs to bring down the house!” Los Angeles Times

Escanaba in Love

Escanaba in LoveBy Jeff Daniels

It’s back to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in this prequel to last summer’s smash hit, Escanaba in Da Moonlight. This time, Jeff Daniels brings a touching, romantic comedy element to the rugged hunter-humor of Michigan’s favorite yooper family. As deer hunting season arrives, the Soady men meet their biggest challenge; not a great buck or a hunter’s dream, but the camp’s first female visitor, young Albert Soady Jr’s impromptu bride Big Betty Balou. Daniels’ hilarious humor kicks into high gear when the Soady men make their best attempts to grapple with their newest family member. Join Albert, Big Betty Balou and a whole new cast of wacky Yoopers in this uproarious, yet heartfelt comedy.

“this warm comedy in a cold setting completely won me over.” The Ann Arbor News
