Personal:
I am PhD student in Computational Science and Statistics in my 4th semester with only CSS 702 and my dissertation yet to complete. My dissertation topic involves developing a competing risks Bayesian model framework to help predict portfolio performance at my current job. Prior to SDSU, I was a Master's Level Biostatistician at the Mayo Clinic working in the Cancer Center Statistics Unit. My job involved collaborating with physicians on the design, monitoring, government reporting, and analysis/publication of Phase I and II Clinical Trials for Brain Cancer. Currently, I am employed as a Portfolio Analyst at CAPITAL Card Services. I have developed predictive models for several portfolio analytics and have served as a point person for general statistical modeling and SAS(R) questions. Please see my CV below for more details and feel free to contact me via e-mail if you have ANY questions about opportunities for statisticians available in Finance and/or Health Care Research.
