The purpose of this project was to develop a Web-Based course that would provide continuing education to registered nurses regarding Allowing Natural Death at the end-of-life. The purpose of this continuing education course was to further educate registered nurses about the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of death in the natural state of the life span. Availability of this course on the Internet will provide ease of access for continuing education for registered nurses anent allowing natural death for clients and their families. The course will adhere to the educational design format for adult learners, providing avenues to acquire knowledge through cognitive, affective, and psychomotor proponents. The Dick and Carey Design Model of instructional systems design model was applied as the systems approach of designing instruction (Lee & Lee, 2006). Jean Watson’s (1988) Theory of Human Caring will be integrated throughout the educational material.
