POLICY REGARDING INDEPENDENT STUDY COURSES
Generic Undergraduate Students
1. All required pre-nursing and supporting
courses must be completed by enrollment to the nursing major at this institution
or another accredited institution that offers equivalent courses. Individual
students with a better than average academic record, may be considered
for exception under special circumstances by the dean or the dean's designee.
2. D grades in pre-nursing courses
at SDSU cannot be removed by an independent study course.
3. Independent study (i.e., correspondence
courses) may be allowed for elective and humanities/fine arts core credits
with prior approval by the dean or the dean's designee.
