The WWW virtual Library of the Men's Issues Page presents articles, features, books and resources relating to fatherhood and childrearing. It also presents articles, letters1 testimony and studies on fatherlessness in the United States. http://www.parentsoup.com Parent Soup is a general parenting web site that devotes specific areas to parenting of gay and lesbian couples. The discussion area contains hundreds of articles and member correspondence on every issue of parenting. Use the search engine on the main page to find articles about gay parenting or go to the list of discussion groups to find the group devoted to gays and lesbians. Growing Generations Growing Generations L.L.C. is an organization dedicated to building "families of choice."The organization is the first professional surrogate program working to create families in the gay and lesbian community. The organization and the site provide medical, legal and psychological assistance to all families of diversity. http://www.vix.com/pub/men/nofather/nodad.html The WWW Virtual Library of the Men's Issues Page on fatherhood and fatherlessness contains a section called Wefare's Effect on Fatherlessness. The section contains articles, editorials, facts and figures on welfare and the absence of fathers in American households. http://www.census.gov/ The Department of the Census is a part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. The Department of the Census generates statistics on subjects from construction to business to education. The Census website has a user's manual, an alphabetical index and several powerful search engines to make researching more convenient. http://www.fedstats.gov/ The Federal Interagency Council on Statistical Policy maintains this site to provide a collection of statistics and information produced by over 70 public agencies used by the public. The site has an alphabetical index and efficient search engines that make navigation less complicated. The site contains additional information about contributing agencies, programs, regional statistics and news. The site has links to other information resources as well.
