STOCKHOLDER’S
REPORT
Evaluation
(75 pts possible)
1)
Preparation (15 pts) _____
Includes such
aspects as how well rehearsed the presentation is, how knowledgeable the team
is, and the development and quality of the PowerPoint presentation.
2) Quality
of Oral Presentation (15 pts) _____
Includes such
aspects as how well the presentation flows, how well organized it is, that
important aspects of the organization were included in the discussion, and that
presentation responsibilities were divided among team members.
3) Quality of Written Materials (10 pts) _____
One copy of written documents is to be given to
each team and your instructor at the beginning of the presentation. Evaluation of this component is determined by the
professional look and presentation of information, organization, and how well it
supplements your presentation. It
must not simply be a print out of your PowerPoint slides.
4) Thoroughness (10 pts) _____
Your audience
consists of stockholders. They will
want to know about your mission and strategic plan and financial performance.
They’ll also want to know about the management team.
The stockholders report should focus on “this is what we set out to
do,” “this is where we are now,” and “this is what we’re planning for
the future.”
5) Response to Questions (10 pts) _____
Stockholders and
your instructor may have questions for your organization.
These questions may be directed to any group member, so be sure that you
are knowledgeable about all aspects of your team’s presentation.
6) Time Management (5 pts) _____
You will have 15
minutes for presentation and questions. You
won’t be allowed to go over 15 minutes, as it would cut into another team’s
time.
7) Professional Attire (5 pts) _____
Present
yourselves as the professional management team you are.
Professional business attire is required.
Appropriate dress would be what you would wear to a professional job
interview.
8) Other (5 pts) _____
In
this category, I will give points for creative extras such as good
introductions, use of logos/mottos, an especially interesting presentation, etc.
