Mentorship/Practicum II is the third part of a five part series on
vocational technical education. The series, the Mentorship Program, is
designed to assist and guide new faculty members located in secondary
schools both public and private, vocational multi-districts, and
postsecondary institutions in South Dakota. This course utilizes on-site
faculty members as well as Internet applications to deliver educational
material. This strategy promotes cooperation between course participants
and their mentors. This course will assist instructional faculty with
managing instructional demands and concerns of new faculty across the
state. It will also assist teachers with identifying and preparing various
teaching methods and techniques to suit student needs. In addition, this
course will require analysis of feedback for evaluation purposes.
