COURSE DESCRIPTION

Mentorship/Practicum I is the second part of a three part series on career and technical education. The series, the Mentorship Program, is designed to assist and guide new faculty members located in secondary schools (both public and private), vocational multi-districts, and post secondary institutions in South Dakota. This strategy promotes cooperation between course participants and their mentors. This course will assist instructional faculty with managing instructional demands and concerns state-wide. It will also assist teachers with identifying and preparing various teaching methods and strategies to meet learners' needs. In addition, this course will prepare new faculty for continued certification and/or credentialing in South Dakota.
