Two-Dimensional Time Series Applet

     This page starts a two-dimensional time series applet. 

    Click in the empty white space to start an orbit whose initial state is the point at which you click.  The applet starts up with the Henon map in place.  If you click almost anywhere in the white space, you'll create an orbit that tends towards the famous Henon attractor.  The resulting shape is an approximation of the complete Henon attractor.

    You can change the functions defining the map and the boundaries of the white viewing window.  Please see the help menus for more on how to use this applet.
