One-Dimensional Time Series Applet

     This page starts a one-dimensional time series applet. 

    Click in the empty white space to start an orbit whose initial state is the y-coordinate of the point at which you click.  The applet starts up with the p=4 Logistic Map map in place.  If you click almost anywhere in the white space, you'll observe the chaotic behavior associated with this map.

    You can change the function defining the map and the boundaries of the white viewing window.  Please see the help menus for more on how to use this applet.
