The laboratory portion of Chemistry 106 is designed to help you better understand the material that is presented in the lecture portion of the class.

This resource center has been designed to help you through the laboratory procedures. You will find much information that will be helpful to you both in the laboratory and in the classroom. You will find general information concerning safety and safe work practices in the laboratory, background material for each of the experiments that we do, video demonstrations of laboratory procedures and techniques, and a wealth of additional information.

Read the appropriate material each week before coming to lab and refer to the web pages often as you are performing the experiments.

LET'S MAKE THE LABORATORY A LEARNING EXPERIENCE. COME TO LAB PREPARED, THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS.
